I came across this while searching for nutritional value of roasted chicken. Perhaps it will be useful to others.

You've boiled chicken but not roasted it? That seems unusual. I roast chicken a lot.1

I think we have a woo unibomber. You can also check out the FDA entries.1

Generally if I cook a whole chicken I just log the cooked amounts of each type (breast/brown meat) I eat. Key id really just finding an appropriate cooked entry.1

This is exactly what I do too.1 -

Excellent. I boil chicken often and was looking for an "after cooked" useful entry.
I've never roasted chicken at home though.
I see she got a woo, that's good right? There's nothing wrong with this is there? So confusing.
The woo is a mystery! I think I was wooed for spite. Which I actually enjoy! LOL!1 -
Lots of weird wooing in lots of threads lately.1

I find it useful because I do a lot with chicken. I may roast a pan of chicken legs, or I may roast a whole chicken. I roast it more than anything else. However I have found that it is not always easy to find info for cooked chicken. Raw nutrition info is usually listed on a package. I don't always weigh raw chicken. Or any other raw meat for that matter.
Anyhoo, I hope someone, somewhere will find useful info here.1 -
I don't use chicken that comes in a package (I get mine from a local farm), so I have to use the USDA entries for raw chicken too, which was helpful because I just started using the cooked ones for cooked chicken (and since I mostly eat bone-in, and often roast a whole chicken, that was easier).
USDA entries can be found here: https://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/search/list
One chicken example (there are many):
05060, Chicken, broilers or fryers, breast, meat and skin, cooked, roasted
https://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/foods/show/883?manu=&fgcd=&ds=Standard Reference
The great thing is that if you know the terms they can generally all be found on MFP. When logging at MFP I try to mostly use the USDA entries (for whole foods). One reason I prefer logging at Cronometer is they have fewer options but do have the USDA entries and make them really easy to see. It's not nearly as easy for packaged things, though.
Just adding all that in case someone else finds it helpful, not to contradict anything in the thread!1 -

I have a crazy long list of vegetable which I have used their info for. I can't recall why their info for meat wasn't jiving with me. I remember looking it up there and not being satisfied. But for the life of me I can't recall why... Has this site been changed at all in recent memory? That you can tell?.1 -
After that last response I recall. I think I wanted info on the specific parts. say, the breast and thighs I'm thinking. I wasn't getting exactly what I was searching for.I will add, I am one of those people who likes for everything to be just-so or I can't sleep at night. If I suspect I am off on an entry by a single calorie I will toss and turn at night. It's a character flaw I guess! I weigh every last thing by the gram and enter it meticulously. When I find something for which I can't get an exact nutrient label it irritates me! I had a Boars Head chicken Cesar wrap that I had to just find the closest possible info for. Then the fact that there was no nutrition for the dressing about made my head explode. I'm working on my problem! LOL!0
