    Canadian bacon is a sham.

Not when you also pair it with regular bacon
    I like you.

There is a sandwich place here that uses a minimum of 2 types of bacon on each. I ordered one that had Pea meal bacon, back bacon, and regular bacon, with caramelized onions and bbq sauce, it was delish. The only desert they sell is chocolate covered bacon.

It's true! I hate it! Glorified ham!

Have you been to Canada and ordered bacon and got ham or something? I don't get where this is coming from. Or maybe does America sell ham and call it "Canadian Bacon"?

Wait.. you are Canadian. What is going on in Ontario??

A Canadian woman bringing me poutine. There is my dream.

I'm afraid that the sharing of Poutine is an element of a traditional marriage ceremony in Canada. You may want to give up the dream unless you're prepared to be tied for life to one of the locals, and are able to supply the bride's family with 50 beaver pelts and a life time supply of maple syrup and ketchup chips.

"Canadian Bacon" is an American term for back bacon, that's why most Canadians that hear "Canadian Bacon" don't know what it is!

When in the ceremony does one capture their own pet polar bear? Who decorates the dog sled with tin cans and streamers? Does the man have to have his own igloo complete before proposing, or can the couple move into the girl's parents igloo and work on building their own together?

Must be an Ontario thing. Those of us in the Rest of Canada (otherwise known as 'Here Be Dragons Land') who exist outside the GTO...not so much. We actually have a variety of potato chip flavours in the West...Salt and Vinegar (real traditional Canadian), Cheddar and Bacon...hmmm

Ketchup is an American abomination that has no place in the pantry of any civilized Canadian.

I wouldn't stand in the way of a man taking all the bacon and poutine away... also the ketchup chips.

I don't eat that stuff anyway
