What a weird humble brag.8

Great job OP! Most weight I ever lost in a day was 7.8lbs. I was just curious to see how much weight I could lose in one day bc I had a horrible cheat day the day before. I didn’t take any laxatives tho. I fasted(omad) for 23hrs and during that time I did a 8 mile run outside(in July). Just drank minimal water. That’s it really.
INB4 vultures come...yes I know it was dumb blah blah blah! I was just curious. Pretty sure every person has at least tried this once in here.
I really haven't, not once.8 -

Oh there are definitely a few people in denial in this thread, namely the ones who are not recognizing the warning signs of disordered thinking about food and weight loss if they take such extreme approaches for the simple validation of seeing what the scale shows following such unhealthy, drastic measures....

Nope. Not tried this once. Have no reason or desire to.

Never even crossed my mind as something id want to attempt. Im struggling to see what the point is if your putting your body through hell, its not an enjoyable day AT ALL, And its literally just losing water which my body needs to function and be healthy. For what....A shift on the numbers of a small box i stand on for like a minute until i eat/drink again?
Hell, Iv done the reverse though. All you can eat chinese, anyone? Mmmmm6 -
This is a really interesting article in the way you have described it. It's interesting to see how much we obsess about
meeting a goal with a date. Just as the person loosing weight who is now in a plataeu will change their diet, do more exercise etc to try and continue their loss. I saw someone post about how they were tracking weekly and had gained one week and almost didnt log it. I'm glad you acknowledged that after all that all you had done was ticked a box & reached a goal for the approval from someone else or yourself but in the end you had just pushed along the weight loss into the next month. I hope you get there!1 -
Also, anyone who reads 'I lost 10lb in 1 day' and thinks it was done in a healthy way is really only kidding themselves.0
