No longer obese!

So much to be happy about today! My weekly weigh-in puts me at:
-21 lbs under my maximum weight (16 of that in the last 2-1/2 months)
-1/3 of my total weight loss goal
-officially <30 BMI
-back into the weight range I maintained 3-5 (or more) years ago
My belt also cinched at its tightest notch this morning (on the first try, and not really trying for it). Which means shopping for new clothes is definitely on my agenda for when I visit family in the City in a couple weeks.
My husband is also saying he can definitely see the differences (and he really likes it ^_^).
Really funny part is that he said "40 to go" without knowing that's exactly my ultimate goal.
I was actually a little surprised this morning when I weighed in because I honestly expected it to be the same as last week, what with all the Halloween candy, and a crazy week that prevented me from getting out for any real exercise (not even my lunchtime walks, jogs, or dog park visits, and only did yoga once). I suppose my saving grace was a slightly stressful week of work, and managing to actually get SOME activity (e.g. pacing my office) in most hours of the day, resulting in 2 lbs dropped!
My next bragging point will be my top pregnancy weight, from over 11 years ago, which is another 12 lbs away. I'm aiming to hit that within the next three months, even with the holiday feasts. We'll call it a Valentine's present to myself. (Although maybe my body will continue to surprise me and cut me down before the end of the year.)
