Think I'm eating right foods ... but ...

I've been fighting to lose weight for 20 years, now. Lost 40 pounds a few years ago, but have been floating around 210 for several years. I think I'm eating the right foods, but not keeping track of quantities. Tomorrow, I'll pull out the mini-scale in the kitchen and remind myself what an ounce of nuts looks like, what an ounce of meat looks like, what a cup of anything looks like ...

    Don't do it by cup. Stick to grams.

    Yes, even healthy foods can have lots of calories. They add up quickly, especially as our calorie budgets shrink over the years. Logging calories really is an eye-opener. Start weighing and logging and I'm sure you'll start seeing the scales tip the good way. Good luck.
