New to IF

I started IF 3/2017 and went smooth for about 5 months ( 8/16 with a 400 calorie deficit) noticed I hit a plateau after dropping around 15 lbs and changed my gym workouts to nothing but compound movements and started back up on IF, I did gain some muscle but not enough to justify staying in the 163-166 range with virtually zero loss around the waist line. Anyone else experience this
