peloton - sound not working

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I've had my peloton bike for over a year. Tonight my husband tried hooking up a sonos speaker to it and now there is no sound whatsoever. I called support and they asked me to do a factory reset. Nothing worked.
I was told it will be three days before I hear from someone from tech support (which is inexcusable given the amount of money I spent on this machine and the associated monthly subscription, but that's a different story).
Has anyone experienced this? Any other solutions I could try?

I hope you get it fixed. (I'm bumping this before it falls off the front other, hoping it will catch the attention of somebody with some ideas.)0

@TimothyFish, no, it doesn't work with headphones. For what it's worth, the speaker to which my husband tried hooking it up works with his laptop.
