At it again after baby

So let’s give this another good try. Baby is now 1 year old and no change in weight from 6 weeks post partum. Baby weight has been no joke but I’m tired of being over weight and feeling so unhealthy. Gained 55 lbs while pregnant and having a hard time finding motherhood/work/workout life balance. I have a long commute and work full time. I just wanna spend time with my child after a long day and by 8pm I’m exhausted and hard to workout. I started working out on my lunch break but it’s only 30 mins and not enough and I can’t get too sweaty so it’s not a substantial workout. Anyways I’m determined to find this balance and get this weight off

Mom of twins here:
My kids are three now. It's still tough to find time to work out. But I have found that right now I need to focus more on eating right portions and not so much working out. Now when I start working out again, my local gym has kid-sized gym equipment and a daycare should I need it.
When we first have kids, a lot of things get put on the shelf. Showers, eating right, hell even SLEEPING. But ulitmetly, we make time for things because we need to. We have to use the bathroom, we have to eat, we have to sleep, and someday you will say "I /have/ to work out." When something become a high priority you'll surprise yourself. Just don't put so much pressure on yourself.3 -
What is your daily calorie goal? Do you weigh, measure, and log your food here accurately? Eating fewer calories than you burn is all you need to lose weight.
Exercise has great health benefits so be as active as you can, but you don't need a timed, structured workout program.0
