    If you have specific people you're trying to friend, click on their username and go to their page. You'll see a green button that says "Add As Friend."

    But how do I find their user name? I have a real life friend who is on MFP and we both want to be friends on here but I don't know how to find her.

    You'll have to contact her another way (phone, text, etc.) and ask her to tell you her user name

    You could ask your friend their username and try to search it on "Find Members" section.
