Logging Strength Training

I could use some clarification on logging exercise. I don't have much to lose as far as weight/fat. I don't want to be under eating to the point where I lose muscle. I'm happy with my macros and daily net calories, but...when it comes to logging exercise I am a bit baffled. I do strength training 2-3x per week @ 90 minutes each. I'm sure this burns calories I need to eat back to not lose muscle mass, but I do not see where to log this type of activity AND have it added to my calories I need to consume that day. Where I can log that type of exercise seems to be just more of a log and I keep that journal on paper at the gym. Any suggestions on how to log that type of exercise to be added to the calories I need to consume to = my net would be appreciated.

Don't worry about it, lifting does not burn many calories

You can account for calories burned through Strength Training. Click Exercise -> Database -> and from the "choose an exercise below" dropdown menu, choose Strength Training (Weight Training, Weight Lifting).

If you've created a profile and have been updating your weight, then all you need to do is add the minutes you spent training and it will create an estimate.

Measuring caloric burn through strength training is virtually impossible. So you can disregard it or just make up a number and use it as a baseline of sorts.

Based on various online calculators, I think MFP does a pretty decent job of estimating the calories burned for me. Povided that the strength training is hitting most of the body (and large muscle groups). If a person is just training arms or abs, and neglecting legs, chest, and back, then the caloric burn will be pretty minimal (and definitely not worth logging, to be honest).
