    I'd say.bread, about 200, 100 cal per slice.
Tiny amount of mayo, 70 cal per serving, turkey 60 calories per oz, Cheese, 100 cal. Total 430 calories

I note for people who don't weigh ingredients that a table spoon of mayo is NOT "dip my soup spoon in the mayo and get out as much as I can"

Run the straight top of a knife, or a credit card or bank card (preferably a sacrificial pre-washed one) over your spoon returning the excess to the jar or the garbage as per your preference.

THAT is a tablespoon (assuming your soup spoon is a "standard" 15ml one.

It is a pathetic amount of peanut butter or mayo or jam. Just saying.

<most neither puny nor impressive "commercial wedge" type sandwiches would be along the lines of ~180 for bread, ~100 for "deli" "meat" (~3oz), ~50-60 per slice of processed cheese, ~75 cal for about 3/4 of a tablespoon of mayo, ~20 Cal for the sample veggies. if the bread is also buttered or margarined, that might add another 50 cal or so>

Who makes a sandwich with one ounce of turkey? Not any place I've ever bought one, and I sincerely doubt anyone who's making their own sandwich but doesn't know enough about the calories in the food they eat to be able to estimate their turkey sandwich on their own uses only one ounce.

I’m pretty sure they meant 2 oz based on the 60 calorie part.

Bread calories can be tricky. I cannot stand sliced American bread in a bag, so I would always make a sandwich with fresh bakery bread or from a baguette--so I rarely make sandwiches at home since I don't buy supermarket bread, and only rarely pick up a fresh baguette. At some of the local places in my area, all kinds of artisan bread is used for sandwiches. Some of them do list calories already, but not all. Any sandwich on a sub or a roll is going to be at least 500 calories, and larger than 4 inches, probably 700 or more.

I just made a chopped turkey sandwich for lunch.

    4oz chopped roasted turkey scraps
    1 tbsp mayo
2 slices of whole wheat bread
    4 slices of Roma tomato
    1 large iceburg lettuce leaf
    Salt & pepper

Total estimated cals as logged into MFP was 465.

Used too much turkey; sandwich was overloaded. 2 oz probably enough. Would have cut cals to about 355 if I cut the turkey and mayo in half. Will do this with the remaining chopped turkey.
