Hi y’all! My name is Jaclyn, I’m currently in college and I’m down 38-40 pounds, but I still have quite a ways to go!

As a college kid, I find it to sometimes be difficult to stay motivated and eat healthy consistently! College kids are notorious for partying every night, and eating the cheapest worst foods available! I have definitely fallen victim to said eating habits and party ventures! Not to mention we also have to deal with the stress of writing papers, studying, working full time and trying to keep healthy relationships with family, friends and significant others.

What are yalls tips and tricks to keep up the motivation, not fall into the bad eating habits, and keep on track with exercise, all while battling with the everyday struggles of college?

Also, add me, we can be friends

For me, thinking about foods I want to eat as "bad", trying to "stick to eating healthy", exercise, just made me desire the "bad" foods and hate everything I believed to be healthy, looked for motivation, exercised intensely for a bit, could stick to my resolves for a while, until I couldn't and then overate everything, while inventing excuses for not moving to do the simplest of tasks.

Now I deem nothing off limit, I believe that a healthy diet is varied and balanced, I don't envy others who can "eat anything and not get fat" (I'm actually one of those people now), I move more on the daily, I plan meals to eat tasty and cheap as well as varied and balanced, and all in all, am more happy and relaxed, well-nourished and energetic. And I'm probably twice your age :D
