Hi. I am in need of support. I've been trying to lose weight for about 3 months now and I keep falling off the wagon. I have restarted my exercise app with Garmin and myfittnesspal. I need help remembering my goals every day. constant reminders to be aware of my food and my fitness level. I want to look great by summer 2018. I have about 25 pounds to loose and muscle to build. PLEASE HELP.

You got this! I like tracking calorie intake but start with what works for you and build on to that! (i.e., low carb; restricted calories; exercise. Read other's success stories - always inspirational!

That's not really how it works. Nobody should have to remind you to eat and exercise. If you need a reminder, use an alarm. If you just "forget", take a closer look at your plan - a healthy eating and exercise plan should be something you want to stick to. Losing weight is so simple, that if you have weight to lose, you just DO it, don't TRY.

Hi Carolyn, I had the same struggle for ages. YOU CAN DO IT! I finally exhausted myself with the ups and downs of dieting. Like Grice111 I love tracking my calories, mostly I focus on net calories as it keeps me motivated to keep moving. I adapted the mindset that I had lost the 25 pounds and began thinking like a "thin fit person". I have been consistent for several months. I have lost 25 pounds and have 5 more to go. Then my goal, like yours is to get strong and build muscle. If I can do, you can too! Find what works for you, no matter how small the step, you'll find your path.
