I have no idea what to set my activity level too, the mfp descriptions aren’t that helpful. I average between 12,000-15,000 steps a day. I workout 6 days a week for about 45 minutes to an hour.

With 12-15k steps, I'd probably say start at active, log your intentional exercise, and see how things are looking in a month or so.2

Do you have an activity tracker that can link up to MFP? If so, it doesn’t matter so long as you have negative adjustments enabled.1

Remember, the activity levels are just estimates based on generalizations, so there's really no wrong answer here - if you're losing weight too quickly, adjust your calories up either manually or by raising your activity level. If you're losing too slow, the same in reverse. You just need to make sure to give it enough time to see the trend.0

12-15k steps I would say active and remember that the MFP recommendations don't include PURPOSEFUL activity0
