Going in the right direction? Need Advice!!

So atm I’m currently weigh 230 I believe, 5’11, & male. So I used an online calculator to determine how many calories a day I should be consuming to lose weight. It told me 1800-1840 calories daily. For awhile now I don’t drink soda anymore, I cut WAYYYY back on fast food, & I eat more healthier, completely? Of course not. When I go to the gym I usually do an hour on the elliptical & then weights somedays. Ideally I want to get to 200 or at least 210. Am I going in the right direction or not enough? Also how long would it take to lose around 20 lbs?

My fitness Pal calculates how much you need to eat a week. You can set it for 1.5 - pounds a week.
That will take you about 15 weeks. Eat back some of your calories as the calculators often overestimate them.0
