I literally just started taking diet pills to help curb my appetite until I get off gabapentin it’s horrible I’m starving all the time I swear I’ll eat a meal and still be hungry it’s like the medicine does something to your brain to stop pain but messes up your insulin or something. I looked it up one time and there is something that gets blocked while the medication works to relieve pain well I’m getting off of it soon and working my way down now down to 10mg/day because I can’t gain anymore weight plus it doesn’t help that much with pain I’m still in pain. So I’m just going to get a steroid injection in my back on Monday and hope that helps with pain and gets me exercising more. Until then I’m taking diet pills to get my hunger down so I don’t gain anymore weight. It’s so frustrating I’ve never had this much trouble losing weight in my life. I used to be a personal trainer at a gym and have always worked out. Now since my car accident and nerve pain I can barely walk. At least I’ve found Pilates on the reformer that I can manage 30 minutes a day of so I don’t gain more weight. I really can sympathize with everyone here because it’s so frustrating it’s like do you live in pain and not take medication or do you take it and gain weight which really doesn’t help at all with pain ugh!!!!!!

Are these OTC diet pills? Because your paragraph kind of reads like they might be the amphetamine type...

Definitely check with the pharmacist or your doctor to see if there are contraindications. And if they are OTC you can probably stop taking them because they really don't do anything.
