Attack the problem from multiple angles.
Education - what happens in the brain, what thoughts and emotions are involved, before, during, after? How did my relationship with food become so strained? What role has parents. society, media, food industry, diet industry had?
Attitude - I want to eat like a normal weight person, I want a relaxed and healthy relationship with food.
Environment - keep trigger foods out of arms' reach.
Nutrition - eat a well rounded diet.
Eating habits - get in in a good meal schedule.
Routines and emotions - rest and relaxation.
Normalizing - food is just food, it has no magical powers.

Don't buy it. For me that works best once I buy it I must eat it but when it is not there I don't miss it

    There are tips out there.
    - say out loud that you are choosing to eat it now. This takes your actions from the autonomous to the deliberate
    - Try waiting just five minutes and then choose to eat some. This exercises willpower.
    - Try mentally picturing a stop sign, hold up your hand and say stop out loud.
    - Try spreading out your calories and don’t allow yourself ever to get too hungry.

Make sure you are getting enough calories and don't ever let yourself go hungry. I have a history of binge-eating, and I have kept my insatiable cravings at bay by eating regularly, never dipping below my daily recommended calories and keeping trigger foods out of my house. Once I feel deprived, that's when I fixate on food and want to eat everything. Also, make sure you have plenty of nutritious, whole foods to snack on when you're strapped for time and feeling ravenous. If you eat something healthy first, you probably won't crave something unhealthy! Finally, make sure to portion out your snacks and meals to avoid mindless munching. Hope this helps!
