Hi I’m 24 and would like to know if there’s people with high metabolism or anyone who’s just trying to gain period. Friend me and let’s take this journey together, even if you’re trying to lose

I'm always trying to lose, but my buddy at the gym has always been naturally thin and has a high metabolism. he constantly lifts to keep size and strength up... I'm sure there's some food tricks in there too. aspiring to be like him someday haha

How I wish I had your problem lol but I do wish you luck and I hope you get wherever you want to go! I second lifting as a good idea. :)

I was once in your shoes, and believe me it is just as bad as being overweight. When I was younger I think I had a high metabolism and it seemed no matter what I ate I couldn't get over 120 lbs. (I was as low as 110 at one point) and I'm 5'6. Then in my 40's I finally started putting on weight and for awhile was a perfect 130. Of course the gain never stopped and now I'm in my 60's trying to get back to somewhere between 130 and 150 lbs. All I can suggest is to eat foods that are not too filling but dense in calories like nuts, granola, or avocados. Add high fat and protein powders to milk drinks and graze all day long. Eat 3 good meals a day with lots of fruits, vegetables, protein, and dairy and consciously eat 3-5 snacks in addition. A bowl of cereal before bed might help. One thing you should avoid is overeating sugar. It does lead to insulin resistance and now I'm type II diabetic probably partially because I used to eat so much sugar since I didn't gain weight.
