Question about BMR

I am hoping that someone knowledgeable about BMR will answer this question. I have been reading some of the posts that are at the top of the list, the ones about eating all your calories. These concepts are new to me and I haven't tried them yet. But I am wondering how accurate the MFP calculator is for BMR, and also the other calculators that one finds online. They all give me slightly different answers after I input the same information, so there must be different theories about how to find BMR. But I naturally have an extremely slow heart rate. My resting pulse is normally only around 48-52, and even when I'm standing up and walking around (light walking), it only gets up to around 62. It does elevate normally with exercise into the right heart rate zones. But since its resting rate is so slow, could it be that the BMR calculators are way off for me? Should I assume that the lower figures are more likely to be correct than the higher ones that I'm finding on the different calculators? Maybe this is just a question for my doctor. I don't know if heart rate has anything to do with BMR.

Your heart beating accounts for very very few calories
    I wouldn't worry about it

ETA: Although if your heart rate hits 0 your BMR also goes to 0...

Heart rate would have very little to do with it. The reason you get different numbers is that there are various formulas used to calculate BMR. If you want a truly accurate number you need to go to a lab for testing. Just take the numbers you've gotten and average them out. They shouldn't be all that much different.

Those online calculators are way off for me. RMR tests change too.
