Does anyone have a favorite instant read meat thermometer or are they all about the same? Want to put it on my Christmas list. TIA.

Nah, they're like $2-3 at the grocery store and they're all about the same.

We have the Etekcity 1080 and it works pretty well. It was under $20.

I'm happy with a Therm Pro TP03A. $12.49 on Amazon at the moment.

Yup, The ThermPro TP08; I've got that one too. Doesn't get much use though.
