Losing the Pounds, Not Seeing the Difference

Hi guys-

So I've been working at this for a bit and I know it's supposed to be a slow process. I am slightly frustrated that even though I've lost more than 10 pounds, I'm not necessarily seeing a difference. I don't know if it's because I was heavier than I realized or if it's because I'm hard on myself.

Words of encouragement, wisdom and love are appreciated.

Don't worry, it's very normal to feel like that. Sometimes I still feel like I haven't lost much at all, and I've lost 30. o:

It's because we don't notice subtle changes, especially if they happen very slowly, right in front of us. It's why it takes longer for your co-workers to notice weight loss compared to a family member you see every couple weeks. Because the family member doesn't see you as often, the change is much less subtle. Since you see yourself everyday, you'll be the last to notice.

I can't really tell by looking at myself, and I'm close to 25 lbs down (of course i have a lot of lose). Biggest way I can really tell is how my clothes fit. I am 1/4 of the way through what I want to lose and I'm ready for someone else to notice though! I don't think anyone sees any difference, it is a little discouraging, but I'm trying to look at the big picture.
