What movie are you planning on seeing? What will your paleo meal consist of, sounds pretty intriguing!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, I would ask for it to be my last meal if I'm ever on death row......and I don't even eat turkey or ham. It's the sides.......MmMmm the sides. Our big family Thanksgiving was last Saturday so no more traveling for me! I am gonna stay home and drink all day while I cook up a delicious meal....and eat the hell out of it. Then the next day is back to the grind.

My ex and I are sharing the day with the kids, so I'm doing breakfast. The girls want bacon, eggs, cinnamon rolls, yogurt. Breakfast stuff.

Having a smaller gathering this year. Two of my daughters are going to be out of town. Only 6 coming rather than the usual 16. My youngest daughter is bringing 2 friends and my SIL came into town yesterday for the Holidays. This will be the first year EVER that I get to sit at the adult table. I usually sit at the Kid's table with my granddaughters.

As a Brit, what is the significance of Canadian thanksgiving? Do you still celebrate Xmas-in general?

Of course we celebrate Christmas. Well, those of us who choose to.

So why do you have a thanksgiving too? And why do you have it in October?

At home cooking. My dad is joining us for lunch. Probably have movies (MST3K Turkey Day marathon) or play games in the afternoon/evening.
