Feel bad eating carbs for an evening snack compared to nuts

I don't snack much at all - and consume a low amount of sugar in any form but eat a fair amount of veg, nuts, grains and pulses + protein such as chicken, tuna, salmon and occasional lean red meat.
You may have seen my post before about eating 100g of oatmeal in the morning but sometimes I like another bowl in the evening too.
I don't know why but I feel a little annoyed like it was a bad decision to have a 2nd bowl.
But when I eat a couple of servings of nuts instead as a snack I feel satisfied?
I consume around 280g of carbs a day but If I cut a second bowl of oatmeal from my diet and replace with nuts it would be 220g of carbs. Could say my diet is similar to a Japanese diet, lots of grains and good carbs.
I have no reason to feel this way as my health is fine but I just keep thinking about insulin resistance and over excessive carb consumption, diabetes ???
Having nuts instead would make the diet more varied?
Are there any disadvantages to a high carb intake (especially 200g of oatmeal a day!!)

no. Eat what makes you happy and allows you to stay full enough to stay within your calorie goal.
Nuts are almost all fat (a little protein, but not a lot comparatively,) so there's that.
I think you're majoring in the minors.3 -
As long as you're meeting your needs for protein and fat and you don't have any health issues that require you to limit carbohydrates, I think you're overthinking it. Eat what you enjoy. If that's oatmeal, then have oatmeal.2

Eating carbohydrates does not cause insulin resistance.
If you are meeting your needs for protein and fat and you want oatmeal at night, go ahead and have some.1 -

If you feel bad about it, maybe eat a smaller bowl (half) and add a few nuts to it? Then you get the best of both worlds. Or a piece of fruit with some nuts?0

1. Don't.
2. Don't.0 -
280 isn't really that high for carbs. There is nothing wrong with eating it even if it was, assuming you don't have a medical problem that requires carb restriction.0
