Hello. My name is Erica and I’m 29. I work in the IT field. I’m new to this so any tips will be greatly appreciated. It looks as if my genetics hit me hard in the face. One day you go from playing 6 softball games back to back to the next week not being able to walk up stairs or carry a laundry basket. Umpteen doctors appts, hospital stays, and failed medication trials (weight gain galore) later —we have a fatty liver, high bP and cholesterol, and pericarditis. I am trying to take back control of my body and set myself apart from my family hx of early heart disease [those tests were all normal]. As of now, because of the pericarditis I am only allowed to walk — still restricted from working out. If anyone wants to help keep me accountable — I’m game!
