What's the longest anyone has stayed at a plateu? I'm going on 3 months now, despite my efforts. Is this normal?

3 months in a plateau means you've been eating at maintenance for that long and you need to tighten up your logging. This may include any or all of the following: making sure everything that enters your mouth gets logged, weighing all solids on a food scale and using measuring cups/spoons for all liquids, double-checking that the entries you are using are correct according to the item's nutrition label or the USDA database, utilizing the recipe builder over any "homemade" or "generic" entries in the database, and being mindful of the amount of exercise calories burned/eaten back.

Maybe you are asking the wrong questions. If you're at the same weight over time, you're eating at maintenance. That is normal. If you want to continue losing weight, you have to eat less. That is also normal. You may have to set your calorie target again, expect to lose more slowly, and be more accurate with your logging. This is perfectly normal.

For me 6 weeks was the longest. It was because I was eating more than I thought.... Once I cut back some cals I lost.
