Nutrition Pie Chart

My macros are 40,30,30 and the pie chart so far today shows 57% carbs.

Is this 57% so far consumed? How can I change this to show how much is remaining instead.

    Never mind, I found the answer...you can't!

Unless you go 'Premium' that is.

So I go between my laptop and the app which is all so convenient!

Your macros are 40, 30, 30 ... that is 40% , 30%, 30% ... so your meal(s) thus far today are 17% higher than what you are striving towards for carbs. ... If you are using a smart phone, then you are looking at the Macros tab ... touch the Nutrients tab to see how many carbs you have had thus far and how much is left. ... If you are on the website, the diary shows this information at the bottom of your diary log for the day. ...

I use the website version, not the app, and there's no pie chart.

Honestly, the pie chart is stupid. Percentages don't matter and it can be misleading. Look at what your total gram goals are (based on your percentages if you want) and then you can see what's left for each.

Just use the Nutrition screen instead of Macros!
(The Macros screen is basically rubbish, and of course will only balance at the end of the day unless every single meal and snack is exactly on your target macro profile.)

Also, turning your phone sideways on the Diary screen should give you everything.
Or logging in from a computer rather than phone.

(I'm Premium but don't think any of those are premium features?)

No worries - it's super misleading that the screen they label "macros" is about the least helpful screen ever :#

ditto..a lot easier to look at the grams still needed of protein and fat (and fiber) when deciding the rest of the day.

I did find it useful to change the Dashboard on the Diary page (app) to Custom: Protein, Fat, Fiber (which I think is a Premium feature). (Other useful premium features: either not adjusting for exercise or adding the exercise calories totally to carbs).
