Why do our bodies look thinner in the mornings?

Just something I notice every morning1

Because we are. You've just woken up from a fast (breakfast...break-fast, get it?). I gain about 5lbs every day.
This is why you should take progress pictures the same day of the week at the same time of day. I look completely different Monday AM to Monday PM and also different Monday AM to Friday AM. Realizing this helps keep your head straight. I know I'm going to be bloated on Monday from getting a little crazy with calories over the weekend but I don't stress because I know by Friday I'll look way different.3 -

We are generslly lees in the morning than we are later. I was curious about it myself a few days ago, because unless we have gone to the bathroom ALOT since bedtime, the physics behind losing 3-5 lbs overnight didn't make sense to me. But from ehat I could find, it's mostly water, and most is being exhaled while we sleep,with few chances to gain it back because we are asleep.1
