Sorry if any of these has been asked many times but before I get started on my journey some question I curious about if anyone can please clarify for me.
I selected to lose 0.5 pound a week and it gave me my calorie goal of 1800 so does that means I have to be under 1800 with the number still lit green or should eat until it turns red like 1850 so instead of 1750 since that's what I'm guessing its the GOAL to hit 1800 and not be under that number since I'm already in a deficit? I ask that cause according to my TDEE its around the range of 1900-1980.
Also is damage metabolism a myth just like starvation mode?

You should eat to 1800. You may want to recalculate your TDEE though, as MFP sees your maintenance calories as 2050 (-250 calories for every half pound you choose to lose).0
