Hello
Does anyone do the 30 min hit? And how do we track it in the excessive?

If you're doing 30 minutes of HIIT, it's not HIIT. Unfortunately many in the fitness industry toss around vernacular that hardly relates to what the actual program is supposed to be.

HIIT requires about 90% of intensity and effort. So think about sprinting (not just running at 75%-80% effort) for 30 minutes. Most people can't sprint for more than 30 seconds much less 30 minutes.

Depends on what activity your actually doing but if it's a video based programme then probably circuit training.

I'd just use the circuit training option.

I do a lot of interval training and I always use the circuit training. I have used a heart rate monitor and health tracker and the calories burned were almost identical to the circuit training on MFP.
