Medicare Silver Sneakers Program

I have been blessed to get started and participate in this program for the past 4 months. During this time, I have met some great seniors and class instructors by participating in various classes including Boom, Circuit, CardioFit and Yoga. Also, my wife loves the Silver Splash program that I occasionally participate in. I high recommend participation for all who are eligible!

    I get a free gym membership worth about $35/mo w/Silver Sneakers thru United Healthcare's Medicare Plus program.

    Have a full weight room setup in my garage, a Concept2 rower and Lemond spin bike in the house and a mini crossfit setup in the backyard.

    So, I don't use the gym much and don't take any classes. Not a group/class type of guy. When I do go, I just use the StairMaster, treadmill in hill climb mode and/or the whirlpool, steam room and/or sauna.

    Even so, it's definitely a great benefit that you should take advantage of if you're eligible.
