    First welcome to your journey.

No matter how much weight anyone has to lose it all done the same way. reducing your caloric intake and getting some kind of exercise.

Buy a food scale and start to weigh everything you eat. You will be surprised at what a serving really is and probably angry when you see how small it is. :p Lately i have been saying screw this I am licking the plate cause i want all my calories. :D

Can you get a gym membership? Sometimes is is intimidating for some to get started at the gym and feel a bit lost.
If you are more comfortable find some exercise dvd's and start at home. resistance bands or some small weights to start out.

Most important thing is stay motivated to your new lifestyle change and your not perfect and will have bad days. just get right back to it the next day. If your like me it took years to put on the extra weight so it is going to take time for it to come off.
