Pictures before during and after

What are your true thoughts of pictures before you start weight loss and throughout the journey. I have never taken any before or after, but I keep wondering if that will help me be successful this time around? Should I just take a face shot, body, ? I thought I would find one of my dresses I fit into well before the 60 pound gain and maybe every two weeks try it back on? I don't know - help - anything - anyone - I do NOT want to gain it back this time!

Personally, I find it very rewarding to have pictures to remember and have a sense of accomplishment. And you don't have to share with anyone if you don't want to4

I weigh in once a week, take measurements once a month, and take photos every 3 months.
I do photos in my bikini (or bra and underwear would work) front, each side, and back. I try to remember to pose my arms the same every time, but I sometimes fail to think about it that hard.
For me, it has been extremely beneficial. From one group of photos to the next, I can usually see small changes, a little less poochy in the belly, a little slimmer in the legs, maybe more muscle definition in the back, etc...but then when I go back and look at 1 year ago, 2 years ago, 3 years ago, compared to now...it's amazing and inspiring and helps to keep me wanting to improve even more.
The pictures are for you, and do not need to be seen by anyone else...you will see the changes in your body more clearly if you are wearing very little clothing.5 -
I posted one because I look fricken fat it in and so I have to look at that I’m not at my goal 100 lbs which I’ve always been until after 4th major back September.

I think you should take before, during and after pics.
One sometimes the way you look is much different then what the scale tells you.
Two you can post and share your journey with others so that they can see what can be done.
Now for me I have like a before pic of myself back in 2012 when I had bought some beach body P90 dvd's.
I look at them and go UGH!!!, but also it was when I was at my heaviest of 235lbs. I can see the difference from what I see in the mirror.
I have got to get some DURING pics taken. maybe I will have the wife help me tomorrow.
Just like it was to lose it you have to maintain what you worked so hard to accomplish.0 -

I regret that I was so camera shy before I lost the weight because I have had to really search for before pics. I would take some so you can show off your accomplishments when you lose. I haven't really done during but gonna get some proper after pics soon.3

I find it very motivational. I took before pics. I might take during after 3 months. And will definitely take after. I love looking at the success storys on here. It helps me to see that it is possible. Good luck on your journey!2

Nope nudity is not allowed in the forums. Check the rules. Sorry...2

I made a point to take pictures. It's easy to forget where you were once you get to where you're going. Now that I know what I looked like before - and what I look like now, there will be no going back.1
