    When I was first out and about working (a few decades ago), I picked up a few jobs doing housekeeping. If that's an option for you, it would probably be a bit more entertaining than working a register or stocking shelves. It's a bit of a workout too with all the cleaning, and, a good chance at early morning to mid day shifts, which leave the evenings pretty open. :)
