Eat enough, eat regularly, eat balanced and varied meals, eat food you like, plan food shopping and cooking, accept that everybody gets cravings, and understand that you don't have to follow every random impulse.

You can still eat chocolate and meat or anything, really. Just pre-log your calories and save up calories for treats at the end of the day. I usually save 50-200 calories a day for dark chocolate.

Kommodevaran hit it right on the head. There are so many ways to avoid binging, you just need to find what works for you. I have to literally remove myself from the situation, even walking out of the house to get away from it for a while.

I reward myself with a piece of chocolate for staying within my calories for the day, usually 1 Dove promise @ about 40 calories. Works for me.

Eat chocolate. If you get a nice good quality dark chocolate you may find it takes less to satisfy the craving.

I stopped having cravings for any kind of food after giving up carbs. I just said NO to sugar, bread, pasta, most fruit, and starchy veggies. Lost 100 lbs in 8 months and had to acknowledge that, for me, carbs cause psycho-level cravings, anxiety over food deprivation, and massive weight gain. Better to give ‘em up entirely.
