Nite Eater - Give up Breakfast?

I work for the school district and just came back from having 6 weeks off for summer. I gained 4 pounds during that 6 weeks. Basically I do great all day, but 9:00 pm rolls around and I stroll to the kitchen and eat something I don't need. My husband wants dinner around 5:00 pm, which is too early for me - but I'm not putting dinner together twice so I eat then too. I'm up until at least 10:00 pm so I guess it's not entirely surprising that I get hungry 4 hours after I eat dinner, but I'm getting too many calories into my day. I've thought of a few things that might help. 1. Learn to crochet (It'll give me something to do with my hands). 2. Go see a hypnotist and have him/her tell me I don't want to eat after 6:00 pm (maybe I'll believe it). or 3. Today I started work at 7:30 with a Sugar Free Vanilla Iced Coffee from McD's and by 11:00 I was starving and realized I forgot to eat my breakfast of Yogurt and Strawberries. So, maybe I should forget about breakfasts and just roll those calories over to my night time cravings. Any thoughts?

If you are truly hungry, eat. Save up some calories for it, since you know you want to eat then. I eat right before bed and I"m perfectly okay with that. If you are just eating out of habit, find something else to do.0

I save calories so that I can take a snack to bed with me at 10 every night.... Meal frequency has no bearing on weightloss..... It has not hurt my progress.... Best of Luck0
