super simple. i usually get these items from the farmer's market.
ingredients:
- Fresh Asparagus
- Lemon (1)
- Olive oil (1-2 tablespoons)
- fresh rosemary
- fresh dill
spray roasting pan with olive oil cooking spray or lightly coat the pan with a bit of olive oil
cut the unusable portion of the stalk off of the asparagus.
Mix olive oil with freshly squeezed lemon juice (one lemon), dill and rosemary (to taste) in a mixing bowl
toss washed & trimmed asparagus in the mixture.
Line the asparagus up on roasting pan (do not pile on top of each other)
Bake at 350 in the oven for approx 20 minutes, depending on how much you are making. Check on it every 5-10 minutes. It is done when you see that the asparagus has roasted, i like mine slightly blackened on the tips but this is really subjective.
enjoy! no salt!! great on the side!
