2017 seemed to be a never ending battle. So many hurdles to jump. I am praying 2018 gives us some ease. We have our wedding in February. I get to see my favorite band in March.. So, fingers crossed for an excellent year.

    Hit my goal weight.
    Work on lifting to tone.
Cry when my son goes overseas for 10 days but look forward to hearing how much he loved it.
Work on being happy by myself again and maybe in time, find a decent partner in crime.
Work less, enjoy life more. (I work 65ish hrs a week between two jobs)

This upcoming year is important for me. One more year until hitting 5 -0 and lots of bucket list things I promised myself that need to happen. Big thing is to overcome some injury issues and work on my health.

I haven't given it a lot of thought, but maybe I should. I don't really deal in resolutions, so I don't make plans for the year.

However, if I were going to work on something it would be:
    • Getting a small business up and running drawing/painting/sewing and making things for others.
    • Maybe visiting other countries when and if my husband gets sent to them for half of a year.
    • Traveling in the summer with my son. I plan on getting more into camping/fishing now that we're back in an area that's great for both.
    • Keeping in touch with people who care about me instead of pushing them away because I don't want them to worry about me.
    • Continue to improve my health by adding in exercise on top of healthier habits/eating.
    • Continue to improve my skill sets. :)

Ok 2018, we need to talk. I know you weren't in charge last year and you cant be held accountable. I also know this will be your first management position. This is what I expect: No one dies. No one moves away. There will be no surprise needs to buy a car. I promise to work hard, have a bit of fun, and cut back on beer and pizza. 2018? 2018??? Are you listening? Why are you laughing like that?

I’m ready for 2018 for two main reasons. I start grad school to become a teacher and I’ll be going on a study abroad trip to Poland and France during spring break.

I’m also excited to spend more time with my family and hope we have a better health and less surgeries this upcoming year

The company I work for was acquired by another much large and profitable. Looking forward to reorganization and getting the staff required.

Hmm. When the company I worked for was acquired by another much larger company, it was just a waiting game before we heard the dreaded word "restructuring". Staff cuts, salary cuts, benefit changes, job description changes, etc.

6 months into the year all of these goals will be downscaled. Got to love it.

This company wouldn't happen to be a health insurance company would it?
