Dieting while having a cold

Hi!
So I have had an awful cold for the past week but have managed to stay within my calorie allowance for the week but this is the first week I've lost nothing, not even 0.1lb. I know it's only one week so I'm not panicking over it but I'm just wondering, can having a cold effect weight loss even though I've been eating at a deficit? Will the weight drop off once I'm better or is this week just a bit of a right off?
Thanks in advance!

This.
It's certainly possible with a cold you could be retaining water, or digesting more slowly, or something else. You could have been less active throughout the day than usual without even realizing it. But even if you are completely healthy and do everything perfect, it is totally normal to have a week or two every once and awhile where you don't lose or even to gain. Feel better!0
