My in-laws went to Antarctica...they took a specialty cruise on an ice breaker ship. It's a pretty small boat and as I recall only held 100 passengers. It was an amazing adventure, but they did have some issues on the boat with sea sickness given it is so small.
The boat also had a helli-pad and they took a couple of helicopter excursions to some glaciers and some fly overs. I think they departed from somewhere in South America but I can't remember where.
yeah, what i was looking at was more of a fly over rather than a cruise. the cruises that go there seem WAY expensive.1 -

It was expensive AF...they're both pushing 80 and I think they're just trying to spend all their money...they're taking my wife and I and the kids to Tanzania all expenses paid...also expensive AF...1 -
I'd love to go to New Zealand, South Korea and Iceland.
I live in Canada and I've been to US (Michigan UP, Hawaii, Chicago, Vegas), Mexico, Cuba, UK, Czech Republic, Japan.1 -

Any idea who they went with? Which travel agent/company?
Seems Antartica is one of those place very few people go and do many if any flights fly over it?
No idea... Sorry! I googled - there's flights from various capital cities around aus during the year. No cheap (imo), even for the people stuck in the middle of the plane!1 -

I'm going to Montreal for a friend's wedding this summer. It is a 10 hour flight so it would be exhausting to return right away. What should I do there? Any suggestions?1

Alaska, Bahamas, The mountains, the Grand Canyon, los Vegas just to name a few1

I guess cheap compared to the 20k or what ever it takes to go by sea.
Seems like a unique flight though. How many people do you know who have flown over Antartica?1 -

There is lots to do in Mtl, good food, festivals, music, or you can experience wild Canada just outside the city.2 -
I want to go to Madagascar, Italy, South Africa & Argentina.
I've been to Spain and loved it, want to go back there too. Been to Morocco, Canada & Mexico, but just a border town. I'm from the US, and like Hawaii, California, South Carolina, Florida & New Mexico.3 -
Top three places:
British Isles
Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark)
Australia/New Zealand
I enjoy travelling, and prefer to drive to destinations in the US when I can. I can reach most parts of the country in about 20 hours or less.
Some of the places I'd like to visit in the US are:
Grand Canyon
Glacier National Park
New England in the fall
Canoe/kayak trip in the BWCA
Redwood forest in NorCal
There's a few other places.1 -

I have no interest in Mexico or Canada, or places like Iran, Afghanistan...1 -
My top bucket list places are Alaska, Iceland, Siberia, NYC, London, Australia and chocolate factories around Europe
Hopefully I'll be going to Russia in a few weeks, and Italy in Spring. Honestly, I can't wait to go to Italy. I fall even more in love with it each time I visit2 -
We are doing Germany, Ireland and Scotland next. But I REAAAAAALY want to go to Switzerland.
