I've been overweight for most of my life and somehow got talked into signing up for a 5K mud run in October. Although sloshing through mud dressed up like a zombie has its appeals, I've always hated running. It's boring and it hurts.

However, on my 3rd C25K run I decided to push past my usual breaking point (around 1.5 miles/20 minutes) and tack on another 25 minutes...and I survived (2.5 miles in 45 minutes..yay)! And I learned something from that little push...I freaking love running! It's way more fun to push just a little bit harder :)

I know it's not much, but I feel like a badass :)
