Yesterday, i did 9000 + steps and my fibit showed that I lost 264 calories. Is it right number? I find 264 a high value.
Another question that if one takes small step then would fitbit still count it as one?
Thanks

I get around 250 extra calories for every 10,000 steps I do. I am guessing you weigh more than I do as I am only around 100 pounds. From this I'd say 264 calories from 9000+ steps would be pretty accurate.1

A 264 calorie adjustment doesn't sound high at all. It's going to be dependent on your total Fitbit burn and what MFP has as your maintenance calories at your given activity level.0

That doesn't sound very high at all, and how accurate it is depends on your stats.
I have found over time that my Fitbit slightly underestimates my burns. I get about 350 calories for 10K steps if they're at a brisk walk/slow run. But again, that's going by my stats.
The only way to know is to eat back a portion of your calories, track your data, and compare it to your results over time.1
