Hey all, my name is Jace and I am back here on MFP after an extended break due to injury. Back in July 2017, I re-aggravated a back injury and it caused me to miss out on considerable gym time. After injuring my back in 2010 in Afghanistan, I got into a pretty dark place and thought that I would never be able to work out again. In 2011, I started messing around to see how much I could lift and discovered that if I stuck to perfect form, I could lift relatively pain free. That was when I began powerlifting. This past summer, I re-injured my discs and had to take time off to heal and reevaluate my routine. I am now back at it, smarter than ever and feeling better than I have in years. I am currently sitting at 475 Deadlift, 335 Squat, and 295 Bench and would love to increase those numbers in time for when I hope to compete again in March/April 2018. I am looking for people to motivate (I have also been a personal trainer since 2009) and for people to be motivated by. Feel free to add me and let's all make some progress together!
