Pretty sure my scale is a lying B word and I've never been so insecure before and I just need some guidance.
How can I lose at least 10 pounds by march.

That profile picture is very old so please don't comment. I'm aware of how much better I looked then.

Please send diet or exercise tips. I'm struggling

First determine if you need to lose weight. What's your height and weight - and how old are you?

Then learn how weight loss works - it's over time eating fewer calories than your body burns. You can expect to lose up to 1% of your body weight per week on average, if you have an optimal calorie deficit, and if you have fat to lose.

You don't need random diet and exercise tips. My suspicion is that too much of that is exactly why you're insecure. Get the basics first, so you have a general understanding, then ask specific questions when real, concrete problems turn up.

First step off the scale and use other ways to measure progress. In your other thread from two weeks ago you gave your stats and there is no way you gained that much to lose 10lbs. 10 lbs lost would put you in the underweight category.

If you are feeling this way please don't hesitate to seek help. Believe me this is not a path you want to go down.

Good advice here. Eat at a moderate deficit. Aim to lose 1lb per week and you will get there. Get a food scale. Start a food diary. Crunch the numbers and be patient. Set up 1X per week official weigh in with controlled conditions. Don't freak out when you don't lose 1 lb in a given week.

But I also like the advice about determining if you really want to lose 10lbs. Focusing on the scale when I should have focused on fitness created a big problem for me that took years to sort out. Examine your own assumption.
