experience with weight loss and psyllium husks

Hey everybody!
first of all, I hope I got the translation right here (I'm not native english and never needed that word so far ;-) )
So my doctor told me to take in two teaspoons of psyllium husks with water every day because I had some trouble with my digestion. I use them for about 3 weeks now and the medical part works really good, so I'll definetly keep using them.
But like a week ago I started using MFP again, tracking my calories and so far I've been in my calories every day, getting my 11-14k steps every day, drinking enough - but I have gained about 2lbs.
Just curious if anybody experienced the same? (Would really help with the motivation knowing that it's because of water retention, slower digestion, whatever...) Especially interested if it keeps messing with the scale - as it's my main source of tracking progress atm.
So thank you in advance!

They just made me constipated, the opposite of what I wanted, lol. As a result of constipation, I did temporarily gain up to 5 lbs.1

Take them around meal times for best results. Chase down with an extra glass of water.0

Did you just start or up exercising? If so, that could be the cause of weight gain (water retention).
Also, if the psyllium husk has any added calories (I know some in the US are sold as a sweetened orange flavored drink) remember to track those calories.0
