86ing that Energy Drinks, Soda, Pop, or Diet Drink Habit

I drink a 12oz sugar free Red Bull 5 days a week before work. I'd like to kick that habit for health, money, and craving reasons. Although it is only 10 calories, I know I shouldn't be drinking one every day. This challenge is for anyone wanting to cut that diet beverage out of their daily routine or at least cut it down. Post your goal below and keep us posted. This is the first challenge I have created. Have suggestions on how to make it better next time? Post them below with the phrase "I suggest" (I'm being optimistic that there will be a swarm of replies that will be difficult to search through :smile: )

    My goal is to have only 1 a month. I feel like I may be setting my self up for failure. That is awfully steep considering I drink about 20 a month! I feel 4 a month/1 a week would be more reasonable.

    Day 1 and I'm really struggling not to buy that Red Bull. I just want one badly!

    My goal is no more mountain dew! Yesterday was day one and it almost killed me! Today has gone much better, but the headache is real!!

    I drink diet gingerale and Sprite Zero mixed in my water bottle with ice and water. I just cut back from 3 a day to less than 2. I have been working on decreasing my wine at the same time, so I am using diet gingerale for a wine spritzer, with a lime. I actually like it and it has really cut my drinking down.

    I also started drinking green tea and lemon ginger tea.

    Lizdebomb: You are doing great! 3 days you'll feel better and in a week the cravings should stop. That's been my experience at least! I have had a red bull both days. *face palm*

    I almost posted earlier about how much I hated this challenge and wasn't sure what I was thinking by creating it. However, with only 3.5 hours left at work, I can say I finally made it a day with out a Red Bull!! When I first got to work today, I couldn't stop thinking about a SF Red Bull for about 2 hours. I finally forgot about it.
