ok guys...how do you cope with that weekend takeaway ? theres no way i could get the details for my fav calzone...or the local fish and chip shop meal etc.....so when you have a takeaway, do you just chalk it up to a treat or how do you find its details ?

I find the closest thing I can and log that. Your local fish shop may not have details, but plenty do and it will be close enough to give you a conservative estimate. Lots of bigger pizza chains and restaurants have calorie details, so with a bit of hunting you can find a comparable item.
