am I the only person who doesn't feel sexy WHEN they lift? My hair's a mess. My face is bright red. I'm sweating more than anything...
POST lift? I feel like I'm 4 minutes away from death.
The next day? Sexy as hell.
I mean. I get full on teeth bared, grunt noises, ugly faced when I lift. But, when you get down to it, getting all sweaty and so into something you make stupid noises and stupid faces...? Is exactly the kind of state a man who is attracted to you would want you in.
Yes! I have to throw my Husband out when I'm lifting. If I'd let him, he'd gawk the whole time. It throws me off my game.0 -

Nobody here has ever seen me or knows anything about me, really. But I was totally procrastinating on heading downstairs for my strength workout and now I'm all grinny and ready to head down.0

I do not think I look sexy when I am working out. Big hot, red fed faced mess (not as bad lifting as when I do cardio.). But I do feel sexy when I get to use my strong muscles IRL. Carrying heavy boxes around the office when I "should get someone to help with that." Hiking up 6 flights of stairs with a heavy computer bag and only getting slightly short of breath. I even get excited when I stand in front of a mirror to put my hair back because I can see how awesome my biceps and triceps look.0

I'm just getting started, but I love it so far! Apparently, starting to lift a little more seriously has given me a confidence that I guess wasn't there before (or so I was told recently).
So does this mean I'll be sexy soon? lol:blushing:0 -
more specifically: women who squat and deadlift0
