the best sandwich ever....off the bbq...mesquite charcoal please...thick sliced sourdough (has to be from san francisco), thick sliced calfs liver and strawberries. a little mayo. the sour from the bread, the sweet from the berries and the liver together is a great completion of flavors.

I love sandwiches like Joey Tribbiani loves sandwiches. Reuben, Italian combo, BLT, Beef on Weck, PBJ, Cuban...all of them. I never met a sandwich I didn't like.

Turkey club sandwich on toasted white bread served with a dill pickle, coleslaw, and good crunchy potato chips.

Preferably ordered from hotel room service.

Did you ever hear of a wish sandwich?
Well it's the kind of a sandwich
That you're supposed to take two pieces of bread
And wish you had some meat

Any sandwich that is warm because cold bread is yucky. Bonus points if it has a fried egg on it.

Bon Mai sandwich with extra carrot slaw.
Rueben, extra dry grilled toast, extra kraut.

Open faced roasted beets and goat cheese on sliced sourdough with spinach and Baslamic vinegar...sub an egg and mayo for the beets and goat cheese, add extra greens, pepper and lemon juice.

But you can get full my attention with a simple PB and j as well...

Saw a picture of a turkey and stuffing pannini at Starbucks so decided to try one at home. Sliced turkey, stove top stuffing and a little light mayo. It was so good I had one the next day as well. My wife did hers with cranberries instead of Mayo and she also wanted it the next night.

It has to be a proper English Bacon Buttie :)
Fluffy white bread, salted butter and back bacon. None of that streaky stuff. A soft egg would be a bonus.

A nice MLT – mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe. They’re so perky, I love that.

Grilled cheese for sure. Had one the other day with dried cherries, red onion, sunflower seeds, goat cheese and cheddar. So good!
