Weight loss and acne?

Has anyone else experienced an increase in acne chin spots tied to their weight loss? I’ve been having on/off acne since I turned 25 (despite never having it as a teen), it’s all centered around my chin and seems to have gotten a lot worse since I started restricting. I started at 140lbs and lost about 8/9lbs over 3 weeks. Could this have caused a hormone issue and explain the breakout?

Yes!! Not around my chin, but on my nose. I get hormonal breakouts like crazy now. Im 35, I thought that kind of thing stopped and I honestly thought my hormones were settling down. Everything seems ramped up now that I am living a healthier lifestyle. Small price to pay, I suppose?!0

I guess the price of acne for weight loss is not so bad, but I was kinda hoping it’d settle once I reached maintenance.

I've only been at this for 4 months, so not in to maintenance yet. How long have you been in maintenance? Maybe things are still settling?0 -

I think maybe hormonal changes could effect acne in certain individuals. Sometimes wright loss can also stop periods0
