Blargh. Holiday fun is tough.

Had a Christmas party yesterday. Didn’t go bananas in the snacks, but had a few more drinks than planned. Woke up feeling bloated as hell and the scale agreed. 2.5 pounds up from yesterday!!!!

Assuming it’s water weight, but yowza. It’s rough to see that. And tough to handle a hangover while getting back on track. I want nachos!

    Yep it's water weight.
    Go back to staying within calorie deficit and in a couple of days it'll be history.

    Me too. I did well with the food last but had too much wine. Can't check my weight cause the scale broke this week. Personally I just get back to my normal calorie deficit and don't worry too much about those fun nights.

    I totally feel ya there! Not only is it holiday season, my birthday was last Monday. Went on a mini vacation away. Are within calorie goals all except my birthday and still came home to being 4-5lbs up. I ate at deficit and told myself to shake it off and thankfully this morning saw things back where they should be on the scale.

    I agree I'm ready for all the food-related holiday festivities to end! Too much time weighting out in my head do I want to skip lunch to enjoy dinner or be sensible and just eat a smaller amount of pie and goodies...willpower!
